Williamsburg Passes $103M Budget with New Tax Increases 💵
Williamsburg City Council approved a $103.33 million budget that maintains the real estate tax rate but raises water, meals, lodging, and admissions taxes to address slowing revenue, infrastructure needs, and a structural budget imbalance. The city trimmed $9 million in spending by cutting or delaying projects and freezing nine positions, with the new tax increases set to take effect in January. See More
