THE BEACH BOYS are Returning to Williamsburg in June! 🎶🎶
Yes! You heard that right! Mark your calendars, THE BEACH BOYS ARE BACK. The iconic band is once again coming to the Virginia Arts Festival’s Williamsburg Live event on June 22. Part of the “Sounds of Summer” tour, the show will take place on the lawn of the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg beginning at 7:30 p.m. More information

Lane Shift: Jamestown Road Near Lake Matoaka 🛣️
One southbound lane of Jamestown Road near Lake Matoaka will be closed for 90 minutes Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025, to remove a tree hanging over the roadway. The Landscape Division will begin work at 8 a.m. with an expected completion by 9:30 a.m. The right southbound lane will be closed for the work, and traffic will shift to the left lane. Traffic on Jamestown Road may be stopped briefly to accommodate the work. More information

Busch Gardens announced Big Bad Wolf: The Wolf’s Revenge would be returning this spring during a hard hat tour to preview the coaster Tuesday. More information

The 2024 tax season is upon us, and AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is here to help. The program provides free tax counseling, preparation, and filing service to taxpayers with low to moderate income, with special attention to those aged 60 and older. Greater Williamsburg Tax-Aide is once again operating out of both library locations (Williamsburg Library on Scotland Street as well as the James City County Library on Croaker Road).
