Want to work the polls? James City has 18 polling places throughout the county; of those, 12 polling places are short on election officers. The job entails staffing the polling location from 5 a.m. until roughly 9 p.m. Officers must be able to work the entire day in order to ensure consistent integrity throughout the day. Read more
