James City County Seeks Input from Residents on Strategic Plan 🗞️🏛️

James City County is updating its 2035 Strategic Plan and invites residents to participate in providing input on its values and goals. The first public open house will be held on September 9 at Legacy Hall, where community feedback will help shape future investments and public services.Read more here.

Howl-O-Scream Returns to Busch Gardens Sept. 6 🧛‍♂️🧟‍♂️

Howl-O-Scream returns to Busch Gardens on September 6 for its 25th anniversary, featuring five haunted houses, six terror-tories, and four shows. This year's event includes two new haunted houses, Clown Town and Monster Manor, alongside revamped favorites and special anniversary-themed attractions. Read more here. 

Yorktown Launches Annual Rhythms on the Riverwalk🪕🎤

Yorktown’s 19th annual Rhythms on the Riverwalk concert series begins on September 5 at Riverwalk Landing, featuring free outdoor performances every Thursday evening until mid-October. New Colonial Williamsburg Exhibit Brings Past Alive 🗿🏛️

The new exhibit at Colonial Williamsburg, "Worlds Collide: Archaeology and Global Trade in Williamsburg," showcases 225 artifacts that highlight the city's surprisingly international connections during the 18th century. The collection, including items from Africa, Europe, and Asia, reflects the diverse and global influences on daily life in colonial Williamsburg. Read more here.
