MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! We have entered a new partnership with William & Mary, bringing you upcoming W&M athletic events which are filled with fun for the whole family!

Our standard weekly Thursday edition of The Early Burg will be delivered to your inbox tomorrow morning as usual, this is purely a BONUS! 🎉

How will this partnership work?
In addition to our current weekly issues of The Early Burg sent on Thursday mornings ahead of your weekends, we will also be sending you an email near the beginning of each month, like this one, outlining all upcoming events related solely to William & Mary Athletics, a detailed description of those events (i.e., Princess Night, Star Wars Day, Decades Night, etc.), locations, and times. So mark your calendars and make January your best month yet. 😄 Many of these athletic events have FREE SWAG or giveaways for the first fans who arrive, so don’t miss out!

We also plan to include applicable W&M athletic events in our weekly newsletter on a go-forward basis, so you will see the events below again throughout the month as a reminder.

Hoops note: Women’s general admission tickets start as low as $6 and men’s as low as $14!

Princess day! 
William & Mary Women’s Basketball will host the Second Annual Princess Day on Sunday, January 4th, for a magical afternoon in Kaplan as the Tribe takes on Stony Brook. Young fans are invited to dress as their favorite princess for a day filled with fun, photo opportunities, and Tribe women’s hoops. Some of your favorite princesses will be in Kaplan for a meet-and-greet, so don’t miss this enchanting game day experience!

Youth Basketball Night / Postgame Autographs! 
At halftime, Williamsburg Parks & Recreation will host an on-court scrimmage. Post-game, fans can get their free 2025-26 Tribe Women’s Hoops poster autographed by the entire team!

Join Tribe Women’s Hoops as they throw it back to the 70’s! Costumes are encouraged (bell bottoms and platform shoes welcomed!) as you test out your trivia knowledge! The winner of Tribe Trivia will win an Under Armour gear pack worth $150!

Get ready for a showdown that spans galaxies, because on Saturday, January 24th, the force will be strong in Kaplan Arena for Star Wars Day! Join the William & Mary Tribe Men’s Basketball team as they host the Hofstra Pride in an electrifying Star Wars-themed battle that you won’t want to miss. The lights will be blazing, the crowd will be roaring, and the action will be nothing short of legendary. We are encouraging all fans to dress up as your favorite Star Wars character and join fellow fans in celebrating movie franchise. Various Star Wars characters will be at the game for photo and meet-and-greet opportunities!
